Sudlersville have scheduled an Executive Session to be
held on Wednesday, December 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the Town
Hall.
The
Commissioners will then go to the Sudlersville Middle
School for the Public Hearing on the proposed
annexation, scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
Following the Public Hearing, the Commissioners will
hold their monthly meeting at the Sudlersville Middle
School. |

Sudlersville have canceled their November 21st workshop
due to the Thanksgiving holiday. It will not be
rescheduled. The Commissioners' regular monthly
meeting on December 5th at 7:00 p.m. will be their next

the QAC school property and the Sudlersville Park. This meeting is open to the public and will be held on
Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at the Town

FY 2007/2008 General and Sewer & Water budgets on
Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 6:30 PM in the Town Office,
200 South Church Street. Copies of the budget will be
available at the Town Office during regular office hours
beginning June 7, 2007. The Commissioners' workshop will
begin immediately following the hearing. |

The President
of the Sudlersville Town Commission has called and will
conduct two special meetings today, May 23rd. The
first will be held at the Town Hall at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss real estate
matters pertaining to the Queen Anne's County purchase
of the Friel property. This meeting may go into
Executive Session.
The second
meeting will be with the Queen Anne's County
Commissioners and will be held at the Sudlersville
Middle School at 6:00 p.m. This meeting may also
go into Executive Session to discuss real estate matters
pertaining to the Queen Anne's County purchase of the
Friel property and plans for schools on that property.

Trash Removal Service. Charlie's will begin
providing service to the Town on May 17, 2007. |

February 21, 2007, workshop, the Town Commissioners
voted to change their regular monthly meetings from the first Tuesday of every month to the
first Wednesday of every month. This change has
resulted in the Planning Commission's September 5th
workshop having to be moved to September 4th. Normally, the Planning Commission's workshops are held
the 1st Monday of each month. Because of the Labor
Day holiday on Monday, September 3rd, they will meet now
on Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. |

Groundbreaking
On Senior Center |

 After
four years, construction is finally under way on the
Foxxtown Apartments and Sudlersville Senior Center. The
Foxxtown building will be 3 stories tall, feature an
elevator, 38 one-bedroom apartments, 3 two-bedroom
apartments, a library, fitness center and store, among
other amenities. Also in the project is a new water
system and treatment plant which is going to serve the
new complex as well as the two town schools. |
