UPDATE November 1, 2010
As of Friday, October 29, 2010, construction of the waterlines has moved to Wayne Street. Waterline construction will continue up Wayne Street, then Linden Street, and down Charles Street. Please do not hesitate to contact the Town Office if you have any questions, or problems with the construction.
Water Tower Construction
Starting on November 2nd, 2010, Phoenix Fabricators & Erectors will begin taking down the top part of the water tank. They will be dismantling a piece at a time and rebuilding it with new materials and paint. This will be done at no cost to the Town, due to a fabrication error on the part of the contractor. September 23, 2010
Beginning on Monday, September 27th, 2010 David a Bramble, Inc. will begin construction of the waterlines and connections in Town. They will begin at 200 South Church Street and move south along Church Street. The Town and the Contractor will be working together to avoid as much disruption as possible. David A Bramble, Inc. is required to indemnify the homeowner against any damages to the property such as replacing any tress or shrubs, repairing any driveway aprons that were damaged during construction on any other damages that might be incurred. The Town inspector Joseph Scott will be videotaping and photographing the construction process and any damage that is caused. The project foreman for David A Bramble will be Andy Middletown. August 25, 2010
Construction of the water tower is now complete. Sandblasting and painting will begin this week. Also, construction of the waterlines through town will be starting very shortly. If you have any questions or problems concerning any of the construction please call the Town office at 410-438-3465.
April, 2010 - Currently in under construction in our town is a new water supply and distribution system. The funding of this system was made possible by the USDA Rural Development Office. The design and engineering of this project is by Rettew Engineering. Currently construction of the tower is being done by Phoenix Fabricators. The next phase of construction will begin shortly, to include construction of the water main and also the water treatment system.

Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade
Soon to be under construction in the town is a new waste water treatment plant.
